Here is an inspiring article from Orrin Woodward's blog on Claude and Lana Hamilton. The Hamiltons are new Hawaiian Blue Diamonds in MonaVie!
Claude and Lana Hamilton dropped by in their beautiful new Monaco Signature series motor coach over Labor Day weekend. We toured through their incredibly plush coach and then sat down to talk business. Claude and Lana have increased their numbers attending seminars by over 20% by focusing on the Each One Reach One program in the last 30 days. As numbers increase, so does the volume in an organization. The average Blue Diamond Income is $466,571. The O&L Question: What would you account for your massive success on the MonaVie Team? C&L Answer: There is no magic pill for success. Many times success is just a willingness to dream bigger, sacrifice longer and work harder than the other groups. Our team has committed to pay the price to get the long-term results that we desire. O&L Question: Have you two always been this willing to make sacrifices for your dreams? C&L Answer: (Laughing) Not really. For the first several years in community building, Lana and I did not go to a major function. This really hurt our growth as we did not see the big picture. Finally, I decided I had to go to a major on the other side of O&L Question: Wait a minute. No money, no tickets – How did you get to C&L Answer: I dressed up in my warmest military clothing (it was October in O&L Question: That type of sacrifice for your dreams is pretty rare in today’s society isn’t it? C&L Answer: So many people criticize a winner’s commitment, but no lasting success is achieved without a price. The sad thing is that everyone pays a price whether they achieve their long-term results or not. We decided to pay the price up front so that we could enjoy the benefits over our lifetime. Many people will not pay the price up front and suffer the consequences over their lifetime. There is nothing special about us, but our willingness to dream learn, grow and change. I believe everyone can do that and that is why we build the MonaVie Team. O&L Question: Any words of advice for our reader audience as they strive to achieve their dreams? C&L Answer: Stop negotiating the price for success. Orrin said on one of his CD’s that success never goes on sale. If it isn’t going on sale, then earn the price for success. Before you will ever have a million bucks in the bank – you will deposit a million guts in the bank. No guts, no bucks. Don’t sacrifice the admiration of the many for the criticisms of the few. Lana and I are willing to do whatever it takes legally, morally and ethically to accomplish our dreams and leave a legacy in this world. O&L Question: You are certainly on your way to leaving a legacy. What would you account for your depth and numbers explosion? C&L Answer: There is no substitute for getting in front of your people to lead and teach. We are focused on driving depth in our PET’s and teaching people to build in both binary legs. Superstar to Power Player is our mantra as we travel from open location to other open locations. We are committed to be the team to beat on the Team when it comes to numbers, attitude and volume. O&L: Thank you for stopping by today and may God Bless you on your journey to the top! Laurie and I are so impressed with the hunger that Claude and Lana display to be their personal best. What I love about the Team is the humility of all the top leaders to continue to grow and learn. No one has arrived and we all have much to learn to reach our million people. I pray for your success on the MonaVie Team and maybe you will be sitting in the black leather chairs for a future interview on success principles. God Bless, Orrin Woodward Monday, September 1

What do all great achievers have in common? During my life-long study of high achievers, and especially during these past few years while I have been building the Team, I have discovered one common trait that stands out above all others. Every great achiever has amazing self-discipline. What is self-discipline? Here are a few synonyms – self-control, discipline, willpower, restraint, strength of mind, strength of will, self-will. I am regularly amazed by the number of people looking for shortcuts on their way to success. There is no quick or easy path to accomplishing any great achievement – at least no path I have discovered. Outstanding success is realized by disciplining yourself for longer periods of time and at a greater level when compared to your peers. And with discipline, your success over time begins to compound itself. It has been said that the toughest million you will ever earn is the first million dollars – and I agree with that statement. Olympic athletes, to the person, have amazing discipline when it comes to preparing, training and continuously visualizing. There is no easy way to achieve great things - I recommend you introduce the habit of self discipline into your daily life, and grow to your potential. Monday, May 15

"Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference." Winston Churchill Attitude We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes. Thanks to the Team and to Orrin Woodward for being the example of choosing our attitude.

The LCR staff chased down diamond Larry Vanbuskirk for some comments on his meteoric rise in the Team business. Larry is a former Financial Planner who had three “by referral only” offices in the mid-Michigan area. Larry went from Platinum, to Sapphire, to Emerald, and then to the Diamond level in consecutive years. Larry enjoys a job-optional lifestyle with his lovely wife Marsie.
LCR: You were in the old catalogue model for over a decade at the Platinum level. How did you hold onto your dream through so many years? Larry Vanbuskirk: Well, first I knew that the business itself would only get better. I believed that the MLM field would go from being catalogue-based to Interactive TV. Then the Internet just became an easier avenue to electronic ordering. Part of having a dream is seeing the future even when it is not yet reality. Marsie and I held onto our hope that we and our business would continue to improve. LCR: Weren’t you laughed at for being part of the catalogue model? Larry Vanbuskirk: A leader doesn’t mind the laughter because he knows that it is a sign that he is doing something different. I knew that all real businesses improve and that some day this business would enter the electronic age where I would be a pioneer who rode that wave to financial success. Does Ford motor company have to apologize for the Model T? When you drive a newer Ford today, do you have to explain that it's different than the older Model T Ford? All businesses (that plan on staying in business) grow and change, and the visionary is the one who recognizes a trend and stays in for the long-term. We did that, and it has made all the difference in our finances. LCR: What changed in your business to enable you to grow so fast after such a long period of, well, not growing fast? Larry Vanbuskirk: We became some of the best students of our mentors Orrin and Laurie Woodward. The book, “Leading the Consumer Rebellion,” will teach you the trends going on in business and all you have to do is add hard work. We had tried other systems and they did not work, but after tapping into the Team system, our business exploded. LCR: Did you have doubts that you could be a Diamond after struggling for so long? Larry Vanbuskirk: Everyone has doubts. The key is to silence your doubts through faith. I listened to so many CD’s that I began to see and believe that I could get up again and build this business. Leadership begins when you take your focus off yourself and begin to serve others. The Team leadership training is second-to-none, and I am an excellent example of how anyone can change with the right information. As I like to tell people: the Team system is the number one leadership development system in the world! I'm serious! I was a Financial Planner who spent his life analyzing businesses and I am here to tell you that there is no better business plan available to an aspiring entrepreneur. If you are looking for a handout, then this is not for you, but if you are looking for a hand up, then you have found it! LCR: How is life for you today different than it was as a Financial Planner? Larry Vanbuskirk: I worked an average of 80 to 100 hours per week for 50 weeks a year. The stress was becoming unbearable and I was not in control of my future. Today, I make more income than ever before and I have leaders that I spend my time mentoring. We thank God every day that we met Orrin and Laurie and the rest of the Team leaders. Freedom is a hard thing to describe, and, most people miss this: remember that freedom is not free. It must be earned. We earned our freedom through serving others. The Team leaders have figured out that true happiness comes through making others happy. LCR: Larry, thanks for sharing your wisdom with us today. Sunday, February 5

Here is a nice article from Quixtar Team's Fred Harteis group about our very own Chris and Terri Brady! This year’s Winter Conference exceeded my expectations, as usual. Fred Harteis always succeeds in making each one better than the one before. Perhaps it is, as someone said, that each year I am more open to hearing what is being taught. Chris and Terry Brady of the Team with Orrin Woodward were awesome. It is always great to see someone in person who we have been listening to on CD. It just makes them more real and easier to listen to. I also enjoyed the panels which were made up of leaders from the Harteis Team. I love learning from them the best because they are close friends that we have made over the years. Thanks to Fred Harteis for putting together another spectacular learning experience for the Quixtar team. Monday, January 9

In a recent speech to business owners in Kansas, Orrin Woodward told the audience that, "Wealth comes from proper thinking. The biggest thing I do as a leader is help people attack their limiting beliefs. Most people develop habits based upon limiting beliefs, and then live for years without questioning those original beliefs, forcing themselves to live with the results of those habits. Changing the results is a matter of changing the thinking."

Teddy Roosevelt by Nathan Miller - A Man of Destiny Attention everyone! The next biography is here! Orrin Woodward is reviewing the top biographies in Orrin's extensive library. Orrin is picking the top books for other to live a life of purpose and destiny. Orrin believes reading is one of the keys to success and states he has never met a person who wasn't improved by reading good books. Here is Quixtar Team's Orrin Woodward's latest review:
Teddy Roosevelt was a man of destiny. The book Teddy Roosevelt by Nathan Miller is an enjoyable read with many interesting points where destiny over ruled Teddy’s thinking. When he was young he had multiple sicknesses, asthma and heart problems. He was weak and outclassed by most of the other kids. Teddy’s dad encouraged him to lift weights and start boxing. Over time Teddy developed a masculine physique and an incredible hunger to learn. Teddy’s life seemed like it was guided by the hand of destiny and he catapulted from a sickly youth to the president of the most powerful country on earth. Dreams do come true when you follow your destiny. Go ahead, pick up the book and fulfill your destiny! Monday, December 5

Attention, Attention. The word on the street is that Chris and Orrin are developing their next best selling book. Finally the two super business leaders are capturing their business building principles into book form. The growth of the Team over the last five years has been astronomical and by popular demand will be taught in their business textbook. Look for this book to be used not just by the Team, but by any MLM organization that wishes to learn the principles of building a strong and profitable network. The day Chris and Orrin heard Michael Dell give his talk on internet communities has had an impact that still resounds to this day.
